Rodent Control in Casas Adobes, AZ

Casas Adobes is one of the largest unincorporated communities in the Tucson area, a well-established northwest-side suburb known for its mature neighborhoods, shopping conveniences, and desert-adapted landscaping. Many homes here date from the mid-to-late twentieth century, with established trees, privacy walls, and settled foundations. While Casas Adobes is more urban than the surrounding foothills communities, its mature landscaping and older housing stock make it a regular destination for roof rats, house mice, and pack rats, all of which take advantage of the shade, water, and shelter an established neighborhood provides.

Roof rats are a particular issue in mature suburbs like this one. Established citrus and fruit trees, dense oleander and shrubbery, and tree limbs touching roofs give them protected travel routes and a reliable food supply, and from the trees it's a short trip into attics through vents, gaps at eaves, and openings around utility lines. Older homes also develop foundation cracks, worn door seals, and gaps around pipe penetrations that admit mice, which then nest in walls, garages, and storage areas. Pack rats frequent yards with heavy vegetation and cluttered storage sheds, and their nesting under car hoods and outdoor equipment leads to expensive wiring damage.

Casas Adobes homeowners benefit from rodent control that understands established suburban neighborhoods. Our process begins with a detailed inspection of the home's exterior, attic, and garage to identify active entry points and nesting sites. We trap and remove the current population, perform exclusion work that seals the home against re-entry, and recommend targeted changes, such as trimming tree limbs away from the roofline and securing outdoor food sources, that remove what drew rodents in the first place. If you've heard nocturnal activity in your ceiling or found evidence of rodents, we're close by and ready to help.
